I was with family and friends in the bar facing a big screen.
Ready to watch the Rugby World Cup Final 2003.
England vs Australia.
A wonderful match full of drama.
Thanks to Jonny’s last gasp drop goal, all our dreams were realised.

The World Cup was coming home.
That morning we experienced every emotion known – hope, despair, fear, joy – and the world media, backs to the big screen, were there to capture every moment.
Even the Sydney Telegraph – which the next day printed this picture …
